Dom Weed's senior and baseball portraits in Corning, New York
A senior and baseball portrait session with Dom Weed in Corning, New York: traditional senior portraits on one side, the ballplayer on the other, and a sunset that landed during the baseball set.
Going into Dom's session, I knew I wanted to create some of my signature wow photos. Those are the photos that, hopefully, make you say wow.
Dom plays baseball, so I built the session around his game and we shot two sides of his senior year in Corning: the traditional senior portraits, and the ballplayer.
SENIOR PORTRAITS
The senior portrait side
One half of the session was the traditional senior portraits, shot in Corning with a set of looks of their own.
That half you can plan for. The baseball half is where we got lucky.
I was blown away when I saw my photos. You can clearly see AC took his time on every photo and took pride into every aspect of editing the photos.

The ballplayer, and a sunset
The other half belonged to the ballplayer. Bat swings, diving for a ball, the action side of Dom's sport, the part of his senior year a classic portrait cannot hold.
Then we lucked out. A sunset landed during the baseball set, the kind of light you cannot schedule, and we worked the set into it while it lasted.
The thing that stood out to me the most was the professionalism AC showed. He knew everything he was doing and if you had questions he knew the answer. He made sure all the lighting was right for every picture and also gave suggestions which made the photoshoot even better.
