Mackenzie Chamberlain's senior portraits and sportraits, The Whole Thing
Mackenzie booked The Whole Thing: track and field sportraits at the Waverly High School track in Waverly, NY, then senior portraits at Ives Run in Tioga, PA. Two days, two sides of her senior year.

The Whole Thing pairs sportraits (media day-style sports portraits) with traditional senior portraits. Mackenzie's ran over two days: the sports side at Waverly High School first, then the senior side at Ives Run in Tioga, PA.
Same athlete, two very different days. This is how both of them went.
DAY ONE · WAVERLY NY
The sportrait half
We started on the track at Waverly High School with track and field sportraits. Singlet, spikes, her race medals. It was my first time photographing a track athlete on the track itself, and the photos turned out better than I expected.
After the track we moved into the gym for a set of lifting and strength portraits. The strength side of her sport belongs in this gallery as much as the track does.

I kept saying omg that's my favorite but then the photos just kept getting better and better and they were all my favorites, we were amazed.
DAY TWO · IVES RUN, TIOGA PA
The senior half
For the senior portraits we went to Ives Run in Tioga, PA, one of my favorite places to shoot. The park has a wide variety of natural backdrops, so the gallery moves through completely different looks without ever leaving it.
Partway through we found a creek and shot some photos right in the water. Those turned out perfectly, and they are some of my favorites from the whole session.

I absolutely recommend using A.C. Media. If I ever need pictures for anything, I will 100% be using him. If you're not in love with the shot, he will continue to make adjustments until it's perfect for your liking. He is amazing to work with and beyond talented!!
