Orange, on purpose
I chose the orange gels because I wanted the orange look. It reflected the gym and the look of the shoot, and it matched the school colors too.
What the team walks away with is a set of media day portraits that feel polished and confident, and that stay true to the program behind them.

An experience, not a photo day
One of the big things I preach: these days are not just photo days, they are experiences. Nobody is counting poses. We run through as many looks as the day holds and take the time to actually enjoy making them.
We even got real flame in there: a specialized technique that uses actual fire to create the effect, and exactly the kind of thing a day this long leaves room for. That is where the creativity, the good time, and the memories come from.
